Hi! I'm Lauren, and I am one of those people that likes movies. I can attribute this to my mom who knows more about classic film than anyone I know and raised me knowing the names Billy Wilder, Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, Frank Capra and much more. We would go to the movies for family nights out and watch more on family nights in. I was raised to love the stories they told and to appreciate them like art.

I've been writing about movies on and off since 2009. I originally created a blog to keep track of the movies I watch. Because, you know, there are so many. I figured I could justify the vast amounts of time I spend in front of a TV screen by intellectually processing and writing about them. Since then, this fun hobby has been put to the wayside but I still love to write about movies when I make the time for it.

A little bit more about me: I'm a 25-yr-old journalism student at Brigham Young University. I'm married to a wonderful husband and have a beautiful baby boy. I love karate, running, fitness, not cooking and eating Taco Bell instead, TV Shows, Star Wars, and Harry Potter.

Most of the time I write movie reviews, but I'm always open to post suggestions! HMU if you wanna chat about movies any time because that's literally my favorite thing to do in this world.

**A note on spoilers. Yes, I include spoilers. Part of what writing about my experiences with film inevitably includes my reactions and interpretation to endings. I think of this more of a forum for other people who have seen the movie to discuss and dissect what others constitute as spoilers. If you care that much about not knowing the ending, you probably shouldn't be reading about the movie anyway.
